Congressional Letters to Support C-17 and F/A-18 Procurement
Everyone is aware that Sec. of Defense Gates has proposed eliminating the C-17 production line and significantly scaling back production of the F/A-18. Your help is needed in letting Congress know we need those lines to remain open, not only for the jobs they sustain, but for the defense of our nation. Please download the MS Word document or the Adobe pdf file located here, write in the name of the Senator or Representative for your District, sign the letter and print your name and address, then mail it to your respective Congressman or return the completed form to one of the Union Stewards who will get the letter to the PAC for delivery.
You can view one of the attached maps to locate your District and respective Congressional Leader.
Please print as many letters as you have family or friends willing to sign the letter. Time is critical as Congress will soon be debating the 2010 Supplemental Bills that can help save the production lines.
