GKN Authorizes Strike Actions If Necessary
On Sunday, December 21, 2009, GKN Machinists in St. Louis overwhelming approved the authorization of strike activities if needed to secure a fair and equitable contract on January 11, 2009. While the Strike Sanction vote does not mean a strike will be called, it is an important indication of the will and solidarity of the members.
